Founder Director: Shri Samarendra Nath Kar

Shri Samarendra Nath Kar, the Founder Director of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir, was born on 23rd July 1940 as the eldest son of Shri Narendra Nath Kar and Smt. Shantilata Kar.

He completed his early education at a government school and later earned a B.Sc. in Chemistry from B.B. College, Asansol in the year 1965.

Throughout his career, Shri Kar held various positions, mostly in the colliery sector. However, his passion for education and spiritual values ultimately led him to establish a reputed educational institution in Deoghar. He was deeply inspired by the divine teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Maa Sarada, and their worthy disciple Swami Vivekananda.
